Thomas K. Wanstall

Thomas K. Wanstall was a talented photojournalist whose unforgettable images of firefighters and firefighting documented our profession for several decades.  Tom was a familiar face on the fireground, snapping pictures that would often show up on the front cover of trade magazines, such as "Fire House". Tom's work was memorable to all who saw it, whether in a magazine, or in one of his books such as "Fire in Focus".  His photos not only showed civilians what Our job is all about, they also reinforced in us what a tremendous profession we have chosen.
