2002 Smeal Rear Mount Aerial Ladder
The two Smeal 100 ft Rear Mount Aerial Ladders are built on a HME chassis. They have a tilt cab and a 500 hp Detroit Diesel engine with a 4060 PR Allison Transmission with Retarder. The apparatus has a 230 in wheel base with a turning radius of 35 ft.
Full penetration of Jacking System allows the Apparatus to be leveled on 17 degree grades.
